juliana rempel-arts-bragg-creek
Juliana Rempel creates ceramic functional pottery, sculptural work and installations that are influenced by everyday objects and the traditions of Still Life. Exploring the relationship between familiarity and ambiguity, these silent objects look to find a voice within their frame. Inspired by the ability of the everyday to renew in us an act of knowledge, my groupings create new platforms for these objects to exist.

Joan Matsusaki Making pots for Joan Matsusaki is about creating something useful and communicating to the user what inspires her and what she find beautiful. Joan’s influences and inspirations come from many different sources- but most significantly wilderness landscapes and the animals that live in them inspire her work. Joan is happiest when she is immersed in nature and, hopefully when someone purchases my work, they are taking some of that happiness with them.
